Below are a list of beaches local to the Puerto Banus Apartments: Victor’s Beach - Urban El Ancon (Driving distance - approx 5 mins) Out of complex – on to main road (towards Marbella). Make sure on N340, not A7. Turn off to right after approx 8 km – has a large blue urn / flower pot in the entrance (Looks like a park entrance as need to go through large stone gateway. Opposite large park / hotel grounds). Park on right before the drop down towards the beach (limited parking lower down but saves the hassle of manoeuvring if no available spaces!)
Local Beach (in front of Tramps Bar) Walking – out of complex & turn left past security lodge (against traffic flow). Cross over first road then follow road round to left (towards sea). Go left at end & follow roads round to Guadalpin Hotel. Go up the side of the hotel (past hotel’s own eating places) and turn left at beach. Walk past Pedro’s bar and onto beach area. We felt the nicest sand & softest entry to sea was in the bay to the left of Tramps Bar By Car – out of complex & on to main road. Turn off right at signs for Guadolpin Hotel. Drive down the left side of the hotel (road is partitioned off for 2-way traffic). This brings you onto the back of the beach area – park where you can (beware the soft sand!) Mistral Beach Ctra. Cádiz 174, Rodeito Bajo (Right next to Guadalpin Hotel) Marbella 209660 Rodeito Bajo. Opening hours from 10.00am to 8.00pm (Summer) from 11.00am to 5.00pm (Winter) Open all year. Easy parking. Snacks, Paella, Barbecue, approx. 6 € to 18 € per head. Trendy and laid back beachside restaurant and bar. Water sports available. Cabopino Beach – a few miles up the coast from Marbella on N340, signposted. Good beach bars, loungers, facilities. A Da Bruno’s Italian restaurant at top of road. Big car park and a 2 minute walk down to beach. Worth a visit |
