Listed below are various places within the local area of the Puerto Banus Apartments that we have came across on our own travels.

Magerit restaurant which you will see on entry off the main road is good for snacks etc and has an ok main restaurant menu. Also has a small Deli.

Buddies Bar - Walk out of complex & towards main road. Turn left & walk past Magrit deli & Domus. Walk across bridge on the main road (not the flyover bridge) on the pavement, away from aparetment against the traffic flow (a bit like walking along the M1!). Take 1st road to left (Cortijo Blanco Hotel) – Buddies Bar is just to the left of the hotel, right in front of you.

• Tables in garden area – appear a bit basic at first sight but has a good atmosphere with mix of locals, ex-pats and tourists. Far enough off road not to hear traffic when eating
• Reasonable menu - very good salads, pizza and meat dishes. More - not sampled!

Golden Sun Chinese Restaurant - Best Value & Very Good. Without alcohol – as cheap as chips! Directions as for Buddies but on a few yards and down behind Supersol

Other direction - Down towards the Beach and turn left –( 1 min in the car 5 mins walking) there is the 5 star Guadalpin Banus Hotel with 5 internal restaurants (pricey) and next to that is the trendy Mistral Beach Bar Restaurant which has more buzz than the hotel restaurants can sit in (but no aircon) and can also sit outside.

Cheaper and good Beach Bars by turning right at bottom of apartment road – towards San Pedro also a nice Prom and beach area El Rodeito (across main road) is a 24 hour meat and fish orientated place which is ok (pricey?)

There is loads of average to good restaurants in the PORT itself. Taxi about 5 mins – 7 Euros. Will forward the number although should be at the apartment.

Most restaurants are to the left past Sinatra’s – Red Pepper recommended and further along the front - good Indian Khans. If you go straight on down towards the Castle Instead of passing Sinatra’s, there is a nice Italian Restaurant – Pappadella – lively at night.

Busiest Bar down THE PORT is Sinatra’s – look out for wannabees There is a good place called Pashion Café which is opposite McDonalds which is just off the main N340 heading through San Pedro Alcantara for Estepona. CAR needed for this one.
